We often have a computer or laptop that is running slower than usual. One good thing that you should do is to keep your computer clean using what we call a registry cleaner software. The problem is that we find ourselves on the web downloading free trial versions of software then we uninstall them. What happens is that there is always files that stay in our computers registry keys that slows down our computers.
I have seen video's on YouTube that are telling people to manually delete those files by going in the registry area of your computer. I can't believe that someone would recommend this because it is well known that the smallest mistake can corrupt your operating system so bad that your computer might not boot up anymore. Not all people are familiar with registry keys and should use a good cleaner software. Why? Because they are easy to use and it normally takes no more than 10 minutes. We also know that we should re-format and re-install our operation system a least once every year or so.
The other biggest mistake people are making is that they store all there important files either on their desktop, document folder without making any backups. By doing this, you are in deep trouble if your operating system crashes. If you're not familiar with partitioning your hard drive, I suggest you get information about the subject or send me an email. One other good tool we have access to are external USB hard drives because you can store all your important files on that drive leaving your c drive completely file free. But then again, you need to make sure that you backup that drive too because there is nothing fail proof today.
I've got 3 computers and one laptop shared on a home network and I've been using one very good registry cleaner for the past years that does an amazing job. It is not free to use but the price is very low and very much worth it. I recommend it strongly because even my 8 years old daughter is using it. If you're interested in getting it, I've posted the link on my website.
